Meet Charlotte Bienvenu
Charlotte Bienvenu
MS, LCSW
My heart’s work is connecting with people, hearing their stories and witnessing the unique ways in which healing happens. My goal is to offer a comfortable, safe and supportive environment which fosters growth and assists you in creating a purposeful and peaceful life. My areas of focus are working with ages 15+ and adults dealing with trauma/PTSD, anxiety, depression, addictions, mood disorders, self-esteem, OCD and moral injury.
I have advanced training in EMDR, Brainspotting, and Trauma Informed Yoga and Tai Chi. Alongside these therapeutic modalities, I utilize CBT, DBT, Moral Injury, mindfulness, Art Therapy and Ecotherapy. I am Brainspotting Certified and pursuing Certification in EMDR.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 30 years of experience working in both outpatient and inpatient settings. During these wonderful 30 years I have had the privilege of being a Clinical Director and therapist for adolescents and adults in trauma recovery experiencing dual diagnoses with mood disorders and substance abuse. For the past several years I have enjoyed working at Hero’s Program of New Beginnings where I work with active duty and military veterans.
I look forward to meeting you and working with you!
