Meet Gabby Sonnier
Gabby Sonnier
MS, PLPC
Hello there, I’m Gabby! I work with children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples from a primarily systemic perspective with some aspects of the gestalt, person-centered, cognitive behavioral, and strengths-based perspectives in the mix. Having grown up in a large family here in Acadiana, I value family life and have a passion for helping families to grow together. My father is a veteran, so supporting families of service members is an area of focus near and dear to my heart.
Alongside the family, I work with children, adolescents, and adults as they navigate the challenges of peer struggles, identity, self-esteem, anxiety, depression, developmental changes, and ADHD. I have specialized training in Sandtray Therapy and Gottman Method level 1.
I believe that each person has the ability to navigate challenges and grow. I would be honored to walk with you as you learn more about who you are and take steps toward changes that are more in line with what you want. I look forward to meeting you wherever you are and providing a safe space to work towards your goals.
